Syllabus :-

Without the Proper Knowledge of Railway Group D Syllabus, no applicant can pass the Exam. So, to crack any exam, Syllabus is considered to be the most important resource.

Here is the detailed RRB non-Technical syllabus for the candidates who are preparing for the written test of RRC Group D Posts.

 

Railways is the biggest job provider in India. Every year it has vacancies for various groups. Candidates who have applied for Group D posts may go through the below brief format of Railway Group D syllabus.

 

  • General Awareness and Current Affairs
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Science

 

The subject wise details of RRC Group D Syllabus and Exam Pattern is provided below.

 

  1. General Awareness and Current Affairs – Railway Exam syllabus for Group D has General Awareness Section with the below topics. Current Affairs – National & International, Indian Economy, History – India & World, General Science, Indian Constitution, Indian Polity, Indian Geography, Indian Culture & Heritage, Indian Railway, Important days, Books and Authors, Science & Technology etc.
  2. Mathematics – Arithmetic or Mathematics is a common section which is included in Railway exam syllabus. Percentages Simplification Pipes & Cisterns Time & Distance Profit and Loss Averages Time & Work Interest Boats & Streams Problems on Ages Data Interpretation etc.
  3. General Intelligence and Reasoning – Analogies, Decision Making, Space Visualization, Similarities, Arithmetical Number Series, Arithmetical Reasoning Problem-Solving, Relationship Concepts, Differences, Observation, Analysis Judgement, Visual memory Discrimination, Verbal and Figure Classification etc.
  4. General Science (12th standard level) – Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Biology etc. The Railway RRC Group D exam pattern covers things such as duration of exam, maximum marks, number of
    questions, topics name and other details.In Railway Group D Exam Pattern there will be 4 Sections as follows:

    General Awareness and Current Affairs – 20 questions.
  • Mathematics – 25 Questions.
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 questions.
  • General Science – 25 questions.

(Here will be 100 Objective type questions which are to be answered in 90 mins (For PWD Candidates – 120 min).

There will be Negative Marking of 1/3 Marks in the written exam.
